You can download single continents or the whole world and in case of a world-download you are able to delete or re-download the areas you need whenever you like. Every continent is single or combined useable. We divided the map source in two resolutions: "SD" and "HD". The "SD" resolution goes down till the scale 1: 1.6 Mio., the "HD" Resolution has an additional map-zoom down to 1: 795,000. When you buy on area or the whole world you can decide which Resolution you need/ like - you can download both (it´s the same price - no additional costs for the "HD-file" !) If you don´t Need it later, you can delete only the "HD-file", the "SD-file" will stay on your iPad or iPhone - just to save memory if you like.
